OTP Group members win prestigious international awards
Euromoney names the world’s best banks in its Awards for Excellence 2023
Members of the OTP Group activities have been recognised with one the most prestigious professional awards in the financial sector by Euromoney magazine. The Hungarian OTP Bank has been ranked as the best digital bank within the CEE region in Euromoney’s Awards for Excellence 2023. In the national awards category, OTP Bank was also presented with the Best Bank in Hungary award for the sixth time. In addition to this, OTP Bank Albania has also won the Best Bank in Albania for the fourth time in a row, and Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor (Nova KBM) was presented with the Best Bank in Slovenia. Both banks are subsidiaries of OTP Group.
Euromoney’s
Awards for Excellence 2023
are determined by an editorial jury after a three-month research and interview
process. The professional evaluation committee of the award assessed financial
indicators, size, profitability, and the ability to demonstrate growth,
relative outperformance compared with peers and the ability to adapt to
changing market conditions and/or client needs. As well as financial
performance, banks should include details on their digital banking strategy and
their approach to issues such as cybersecurity and corporate social
responsibility during the application process.
